Het leven is mooi! dat dacht ik toen ik overwacht op dit illegaal concert terecht kwam bij een groep anarchisten en krakers hier in Gent... wat een sfeer!
Niets gevraagd, gewoon gefotografeerd en niemand die opmerkigen gaven, doe je ding stond op hun gezicht af te lezen dus deed ik dat ook... geen licht, beweging en onscherp zaols ik het het liefste heb!

Wat doet iemand op een mooie zondagavond als hij vrij is, neen, niet voor de tv zitten om te kijken naar één of ander programma waar je toch niets van opsteekt en die je zo dom of iets maken, neen, ik ga liever fotograferen! Met een heel mooi avondlicht maakte ik een reeks opnamen in de haven hier in Gent, tegenlicht met laagstaande zon, een paar wolkjes en rust en stilte, rust en stilte in de haven vind je de zondag, voor mij steeds een reden om dikwijls terug te keren naar daar...

Rokende mensen... het is ongezond en het stinkt voor veel mensen maar mensen die roken breng ik heel graag in beeld! Op een terras maakte ik dit beeld van een vrouw, met haar boek en haar sigaret, alles paste in de kader!

Tic Tac Techno

Twee weken geleden was ik actief aan het fotograferen op het Techno feestje " Tic Tac Techno" in mijn Stad Gent!Meer en meer wil ik toffe effecten bekomen door met het licht te spelen, veel tegenlicht, soms helemaal niet flitsen, gewoon blijven rondkijken tot het licht goed valt en dan vastleggen met een lekker contrast, het houd mij bezig tot ik de beelden heb die ik wil hebben en zonder dat je het maar al te goed beseft is het 6 uur in de morgen...
Hierbij mijn pers. selectie van die nacht!

Two weeks ago I was an active part in the photograph on the techno party "TIC TAC techno' in my city of Ghent! I would like more and more cool effects obtained by with a view to play with light, including many times using against lights and sometimes no flash light, simply continue to look good, and the light than recording with nice contrasts, am concerned it until I have the pictures which I would have and without that you are all well aware that the 6 hours in the morning ...
This is my personal selection of that night!

E Bridge on AciD...

Wat ik heb met de bruggen die van de autostrade komen en uitmonden aan het "Zuid" in Gent is mij nog steeds een raadsel maar ik heb er een zwak voor, die strakke lijnen en het "mastodont" gevoel! Op een nacht kwam ik er terug voorbij gereden met de fiets op weg naar huis, had mijn camera bij mij dus.... om 2 uur in de nacht pakte ik alles uit en begon te fotograferen, hoe meer ik door de camera keek en deze bruggen aanschouwde hoe meer ik er in de ban van geraakte en bleef fotograferen tot 3 uur om daarna met een zalig gevoel terug de fiets op te stappen en toch richting huis gereden ben! Ik ga terug, dat is een feit, allersinds snachts en onder invloed, dat maakt het nog dat ietsjes specialer.
What I have with the bridges of the freeway that lead to the "South" in Ghent, It is still a mystery but I have a weak for, the tough lines, and the "mastodont" feeling! One night I came back there over driven, with the bicycle on the road to home, had my camera with me, so … 2 hours in the night ,dooing camera out and began to photograph, the more I by the camera watching these bridges and measure the more I there in the ban of spectacle and continued to 3 hours in the morning  photographing then with a feeling happy to leave the bicycle and yet direction Home driven am! I am returning, that is a fact, at night and under the influence, that makes it even that something special.

Al deze beelden zijn ontstaan uit de hand, geen statief ,kwestie van terug geen "fotoclub opnamen" te maken en mijn eigen ding te doen, onscherp en donker, zoals ik dat heel graag heb!
All these images are formed out of hand, no tripod ,issue of  not a' fotoclub pictures "to make and my own thing to do, and still dark and not very scharp, as i very much like that!

Liefde!, Liefde is iets heel moois, iets speciaals , soms heel bijzonder en intens, niet gewoon en niet dagdagelijks, het intens gevoel van het weten dat iemand aan je denkt... jezelf zijn en het beleven op een heel bijzondere manier dat is hoe ik liefde aanvoel, geen toekomst perspectief, geen sleur en geen masker... juist twee mensen die heel graag bij elkaar zijn en niets meer!

Love, love is something quite wonderful, something special, sometimes very special and intense, not simply and not everyday, the intense feeling of the know that someone thinks of you... Being yourself  and experience on a very special way that is how I love wish, has no future prospects, no everyday same stuff and not a mask ... just two people who are keen to each other and nothing more!
